"RONG" HOUSE
Rong house is a typical type of stilt house, this is a community house, like the village communal house of the Kinh people, used as a place to gather, exchange and discuss of villagers in villages in the Central Highlands, or also a place to stay and welcome. The Rong house was built mainly with materials from the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands such as grass, bamboo, wood, and umbrellas... and was built on a large area of land, located right in the center of the village. The Rong house of each ethnic group has its own features in architecture, shape, and decoration. In general, the Rong house is a much bigger house than a normal house, with high architecture. There are houses up to 18 m high, characterized by steep ax-shaped roofs reaching up to the sky with a strong appearance.

This is the place where community spiritual festivals are held and where generations of old artisans pass on traditional cultural values to the younger generation. In addition, the Rong house is also a place to keep traditional artifacts. : gongs, gongs, drums, weapons, and animal heads sacrificed on holidays.

THE LONG HOUSE OF THE EDE
The long house of the Ede has a low stilt house structure, usually from 15m to more than 100m long, depending on the family of many or a few people. The Ede people do not have communal houses like other ethnic groups in the Central Highlands, the communal house of the village is also a traditional long house but bigger and more beautiful and majestic. The main feature of the Ede longhouse is that it is usually very long because it is a common place for an entire family to live and is often extended each time a female member of the family builds a house. Traditional long houses are usually built of wood, bamboo, and thatched roofs. The house has a good wooden truss structure that has the ability to withstand oil spills over the years.

The long house is divided into two parts: Half of the main door called "Gah" is the place to receive guests and common activities of the whole family, and the other half called "Ok" is the kitchen where the common cooking place is located and the accommodation of the members. couple marriage.

The stairs of the house of the Ede are always hand-carved and are often decorated with the image of two nipples (it looks like a clear fertility belief of the Ede people) and a crescent moon.
